The Benefits of Lotusphere Come to You

Lotusphere Comes to You brings some of the best presentations to your doorstep by hosting events all around the globe. It’s a great benefit whether you were able to attend the main conference in January or not as each event is more personalized and reduces high travel costs!

Davalen is proud to be co-sponsoring and presenting two sessions at the LCTY in Richmond, VA at the end of April.

Our first presentation will be concerning the future direction of Notes and Domino. You’ll be able to see some great new features in the Lotus Notes client and in Lotus Domino.

Our second presentation, “Accelerate your Lotus Domino Web Applications with Dojo and XPages,” will show you some basic steps to leveraging the Dojo framework in your Domino web applications and using the new design element XPages. Using technologies like Ajax, XML, and JSON, Domino web applications can really impress your end users. If you are not familiar with what Dojo and XPages can do for your web applications, you won’t want to miss this presentation. Click here to view the entire agenda for the Richmond event.

In other Lotus Practice Area news, a big thank you to all those who stopped by Davalen’s table at the LCTY in Washington D.C..

According to Lotus Practice Area Manager, Todd Weimer, who attended the event as a Premier Business Partner, “The presentation sessions were very focused on collaboration and Web 2.0 and it was interesting how most of the presentations incorporated services from the web such as Google calendar or Google maps. I predict we will see different services provided by LotusLive in the future beyond the standard line of Lotus products.”
